The Crew Motorfest RC Frenzy Season 9 Update Arrives 6th May
The Crew Motorfest RC Frenzy brings a surprising twist to Season 9 by introducing remote‑control cars as part of the Year 3 Pass, launching on 6th May.
Far from just adding toy‑scale vehicles, the update overhauls the way players experience Hawaii with scaled‑down RC‑style racing and a fresh, more playful perspective on the open world.
New RC‑themed events and top‑down views let you explore familiar tracks in miniature, turning every road into a compact playground that demands tighter control and much sharper precision than ever before.
What RC Frenzy Brings?
The RC Frenzy playlist brings a new sequence of events built around small,nimble RC cars. The RC cars are adaptable, able to squeeze through tight gaps, jump over obstacles, and even drive on rooftops to reveal hidden areas.
The vehicles give a distinct feel compared to regular cars, as they feature unique physics tuned for lighter weight and snappier handling. The top-down view events no longer emphasize pure speed but instead emphasize stunt and creative exploration.

At least five RC cars will be included, each with its own handling style designed for either asphalt or off‑road racing.
They are fully customizable, and players can drive them in cockpit view, complete with a tiny driver sitting behind the wheel for a fun, toy-like feel.
Though the pricing for the RC Frenzy DLC hasn’t been confirmed, it will be included in the Year 3 Pass, which costs £24.99 / $29.99.
In case the players don’t own the DLC or Year 3 Pass, they can still get in on the fun; One RC car will be available as the free reward through the Live Summit. On the other hand, gamers can buy it in the Prestige Ticket Shop with in-game money.

How to Access the Update?
The RC Frenzy DLC will be available for free to all owners of the Crew Motorfest Year 3 Pass starting May 06, 2026, across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Ubisoft Connect and Steam), Amazon Luna, and Steam Deck.
Because Ubisoft plans to sell the RC Frenzy stuff through first-party retailers on the same day, players can also buy it separately. It will give individuals a direct path into the miniature chaos without a pass.
This update completes a larger Season 9 that began in early March with the introduction of NASCAR-licensed stock car racing, the Playground Island hub, and the TrackForge custom course generator.
Motorfest’s sandbox turns even more entertaining with RC Frenzy, which combines fast oval racing with a delightful, toy-scaled take on adventure and acrobatics.
