Supernova Games Confirms Assetto Corsa Console Versions in Development.
The console players and racing fans are no longer waiting for Assetto Corsa Rally coming to Consoles. The highly anticipated announcement by SuperNova Games has confirmed the development of Assetto Corsa Rally coming to Consoles.
Developed in close technical partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, Assetto Corsa Rally builds upon the acclaimed physics engine fans love from the series.
This powerhouse has been expertly adapted to deliver authentic rally dynamics with realistic terrain interaction, dynamic weather effects, and true-to-life vehicle behavior.
Assetto Corsa Rally on PC
The initial release for Assetto Corsa Rally with 10 cars and two locations is set on PC, launching on Steam Early Access on 13th November. However, the console fans keep in mind that the PS5 and Xbox versions are in development.
“At SimRacing Expo, Game Director Irvin Zonca revealed,
‘We’re already deep into console development — in fact, we’re pushing weekly builds directly to game consoles.’
This demonstrates our commitment to delivering a polished console experience right from the start.”
He says the main focus at Supernova is to beat quantity over quality. Therefore, the right stuff takes time to arrive in terms of content, assets, and available builds. Fans will definitely find something exciting that stays.
“The Console release is on the way, but till now we’re working on the PC.”
Though the platforms aren’t confirmed yet, the Assetto Corsa Rally is coming soon and will presumably going to launch on PS5 and Xbox X|S.
What to Expect
On the transition to consoles, the studio also stated, “Our goal is to bring the same uncompromising authenticity and immersion from PC to PS5 and Xbox Series.
Players will get it optimized to leverage the power of next-gen hardware while ensuring smooth and accessible gameplay for console players.”
The game will launch with 10 iconic rally cars from Group B, WRC, and Rally2 classes, offering five game modes and full controller support. Over time, Supernova plans to add more rally stages, cars, a career mode, and VR support to deliver a complete rally experience.
